ACCOUNTABILITY
Corrections
Tell us what is wrong, show us the source, and we will leave a visible trail.
Email contact@saltwaternews.com with the page URL, disputed statement, and supporting source. We review factual errors promptly.
What happens next
Material corrections are noted on the page with the date and substance of the change. Silent fixes are limited to spelling, punctuation, formatting, or links that do not alter meaning. A source can request an attribution correction or removal review.
Report disputes
A Bite Wire card summarizes what its linked source reported. If the summary overstates that source, we correct it. If the underlying report is disputed, we can add context or remove it while preserving an internal audit trail.
